[Tagdb] MapReduce any one ?

Hello, hibernating listers,

Google Labs published a paper on a technique called  MapReduce, a couple 
of years ago. ( don't have the exact url at hand - to locate just ... er 
Google mapreduce ;-) )
Does anyone on this list use that technique in any of the work they do?
Does anyone know of a Python library that implements that technique ( 
Python's map() and reduce() are familiar but not the complete answer  
here )?
I know there's one in Java but looking for one in Python.
Aside from that, any experiences, good, bad, ugly, using the Java one 
would be of interest as well.
