Folks, sorry for promising to blog about tag related things and then
disappearing from the face of the earth.

Here's what I have been doing - it's a recommendation system based on
the "related" notion, for Odeo.

 From the odeo blog (http://odeo.com/blog)
----------------------------------------------------
http://odeo.com/blog/2005/09/odeo-recommends-road-less-traveled.html

 From Evan Williams' blog ( http://evhead.com )
http://evhead.com/2005/09/finding-interesting-stuff-to-listen-to.asp

I can't get into the nitty gritty implementation details for obvious
reasons, but now that I have the tine I will be talking more about the
models I used to get there.
As I mentioned before, looking at related "tags" and "items" seems to be
the focus of various first generation folksonomy sites ( del.icio.us,
flickr, technorati ...).
Looking at related "users" is unexploited.

Go over to www.odeo.com and click on any Channel title link you'll see
the box on the right. While you're at it sign up and listen to stuff
online. You can also use iTunes
if you want or download the Odeo Player which is a Mac Widget that
allows you to play items in your queue.

Aside from the work at Odeo, I was at the TagTuesday talk this week
(http://www.tagtuesday.com/index.php/2005/09/23/tag-tuesday-september-meeting/)
and I recorded it for the benefit of humanity :-). I will be putting it
up on Odeo over the next week after I convert it to MP3 clean up some
glicthes and perhaps add comments.
I am getting interested in this podcasting thing and so will be creating
a channel called "TagTalk" on Odeo where we'll discuss "All Things Tag
Related" -
I hope to interview some of you who are doing interesting things with tags.

So you will see shortly the much promised blog post(s) about my talk
last month and then the audio on Odeo.

Also will be presenting at TagCamp (http://tagcamp.org) mentioned here
already.
