Jup. I started a group called "tagschema_clippings". I wanted to add a
bookmark but it didn't work. Probably that's because I first synched my
bookmarks from del.icio.us and as del.icio.us is not running properly
today this perhaps is now stuck. Otis: Can you see what's wrong there..?

Parrot! I hate that too. Simpys way of doing this is great!

I have a few questions before I'll say let's take this solution:

1. has simpy got limitations in the Note field? I think texts in the
length like those on slashdot seem ok. I'd like to have the possibility
which part of the note is a quote and which one a personal addition. I
like to add notes in the following form:
"Michal Migursky on del.icio.us' popular:
<blockquote>The quality of the links was highest when the system was
populated by hardcore early adopters, and dropped when middle of the
bell curve moved in. In particular, the quality drop was characterized
by echoes and repetitiveness. I would argue that Folksonomy Helps Me
Stay Informed On a Given Topic best when the diversity of a given
tag/user/resource population is high and the headcount
low.</blockquote>"
2. I'd say the RSS-Feed of the posts of this group is a "must have"
3. I'd like to have a kindof "policy" of all the posters to this group.
So that we all strive for the same goal. My idea was to only post about
posts/ideas and not about new services. It should be based on writing.
It should help the "community" to extend the thinking about tagging,
going into new spheres, etc.. Another point is that noone posts about
his/her posts because that'd be silly..

Very kind of you!

Done

You can do so, I will invite the people interested in this

greets
Philipp

P.S. I'll contact Colin (he already set up a site) offlist to discuss
about where/how the service should work..
